HOUSE BLACK is the signature black stoneware finish of DOM VECHERA. Defined by deep charcoal surfaces, restrained iron and bronze undertones, and irregular sculptural forms, each work bears the character of its making.

Individually formed by hand, these ceramic objects embrace asymmetry, textured surfaces, and the primitive qualities of ancient vessels and archaeological fragments. No two works are exactly alike.

Rooted in the visual language of ancient Christianity and Eastern Orthodox sacred art, HOUSE BLACK brings together handmade black pottery, sculptural ceramics, and sacred stoneware.
