Welcome to DOM VECHERA. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and purchases made through it.
By accessing this website, placing an order, submitting an inquiry, or otherwise using the services provided through DOM VECHERA, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
THE WORKS
DOM VECHERA creates individually formed stoneware objects. Many works are unique or produced in small number.
Because each work is formed and finished by hand, variations in shape, surface, glaze, color, texture, dimensions, and other characteristics are inherent to the work.
Irregular edges, asymmetry, visible tool marks, firing marks, glaze movement, surface variation, and evidence of the making process are intentional characteristics and are not considered defects.
Where an individual work is photographed for sale, the object shown is the object the purchaser will receive unless otherwise stated in the listing.
AVAILABILITY
Works offered through DOM VECHERA are subject to availability.
A work placed in a shopping cart is not necessarily reserved until checkout has been successfully completed and payment has been accepted.
Because many works are singular, an available work may be acquired by another purchaser before checkout is completed.
DOM VECHERA reserves the right to correct errors concerning availability, descriptions, or pricing and, where necessary, cancel and refund an affected order.
PRICING & PAYMENT
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless otherwise stated.
Applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other charges will be displayed during checkout where applicable.
Payment must be successfully completed before an order is considered accepted.
DOM VECHERA reserves the right to change the price of works that have not yet been purchased. A price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted.
ORDERS
Submission of an order does not by itself guarantee acceptance.
DOM VECHERA reserves the right to decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases involving payment failure, suspected fraud, pricing or inventory errors, inability to fulfill the order, or misuse of the website.
If payment has already been collected for an order that DOM VECHERA subsequently cancels, the applicable amount will be refunded.
SHIPPING
Available works are prepared and packed with particular consideration for the requirements of ceramic objects.
Estimated processing and shipping information is provided on the Shipping & Returns page and, where applicable, on individual work listings.
Delivery estimates are not guarantees. DOM VECHERA is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, incorrect delivery information supplied by the purchaser, or circumstances outside the reasonable control of the House.
Purchasers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address.
DAMAGE IN TRANSIT
If a work arrives damaged, the purchaser should contact DOM VECHERA within the period specified in the
Shipping & Returns policy.
Photographs of the work, shipping carton, interior packaging, and shipping label may be required to evaluate a shipping claim.
Original packaging should be retained until the matter has been resolved.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
Returns and refunds are governed by the current Shipping & Returns policy.
Eligible returns must satisfy the conditions stated in that policy.
Private commissions, personalized works, and other works expressly identified as final sale are not eligible for return except where required by applicable law or where a work arrives damaged.
PRIVATE COMMISSIONS
Terms for private commissions may vary according to the work requested.
Before work begins, details such as scope, price, payment schedule, estimated completion, shipping, personalization, and cancellation terms may be established separately with the purchaser.
Because commissioned works are created specifically for an individual purchaser, commissions are generally final sale once work has begun.
Handmade ceramics involve processes whose results cannot be controlled with absolute precision. Variations arising through forming, drying, glazing, and firing are inherent to the medium.
INSCRIPTIONS
Certain DOM VECHERA works incorporate inscriptions as part of their design.
Where an inscription appears on an individual work, reasonable care is taken to describe it accurately in the work's listing. Hand-carved lettering may exhibit variations in depth, spacing, alignment, and surface character as part of the making process.
CARE & USE
Purchasers are responsible for following any care or use instructions supplied with a work or stated in its listing.
Not every object offered by DOM VECHERA is intended for food service, exposure to flame, liquids, outdoor use, or other functional applications.
A work should be used only for the purpose described in its listing.
Decorative, sculptural, archival, or devotional works should not be assumed to be food-safe or suitable for uses not expressly identified by DOM VECHERA.
COLOR & DIGITAL REPRESENTATION
DOM VECHERA endeavors to photograph and describe each work accurately.
Colors and surface characteristics may appear differently depending upon lighting, photography, screen settings, and display devices. Minor differences between digital representations and the physical work are therefore possible.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website—including photographs, text, designs, graphics, logos, House marks, product designs, and other original material—is owned by or licensed to DOM VECHERA and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Website content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, commercially exploited, or used to create derivative commercial material without prior written permission.
Purchase of a physical work does not transfer copyright, design rights, trademark rights, reproduction rights, or other intellectual property rights associated with the work.
DOM VECHERA MARKS
The name DOM VECHERA, the ДВ House seal, and other marks used by the House may not be used in a manner that suggests sponsorship, affiliation, endorsement, or authorization without permission.
Maker's marks appearing on individual works form part of the provenance and authorship of those works.
WEBSITE USE
You agree not to misuse this website or interfere with its normal operation.
You may not use the website for fraudulent, unlawful, abusive, or unauthorized commercial purposes, attempt to gain unauthorized access to website systems, or use automated methods to interfere with or extract content in a manner prohibited by applicable law.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The website may rely upon third-party providers for services including hosting, ecommerce functionality, payment processing, shipping, analytics, and communications.
Use of certain third-party services may also be subject to the terms and policies of those providers.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
